Hematology
The Hematology section focuses on the analysis and diagnosis of blood and bonemarrow disorders. This section performs a variety of tests, including complete blood counts (CBC), peripheral blood smears, coagulation studies, Bonemarrow cytology etc. It plays a key role in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, clotting, hemolytic disorders, and other hematologic diseases. The Hematology section utilizes advanced instrumentation and state-of -the-art Fluorescent flowcytometry technology.
Immunohematology
The Immunohematology section specialises in the study of blood group antigens, antibodies, and the immune responses related to blood transfusion. We perform blood grouping and Rh typing, Coombs testing, crossmatching, and investigations of hemolytic transfusion reactions, using the state-of-the-art technology, Gel card method.
Clinical Biochemistry and Immunochemistry
The Clinical Biochemistry and Immunochemistry specialises in the analysis of biochemical markers and hormones. We offer a broad range of tests, including analysis of electrolytes, enzymes, lipids, proteins, Liver function, Renal function tests and metabolic products, as well as immunoassays for detecting specific antibodies, antigens, and hormones, using advanced technologies and automated analyzers.
Clinical Pathology
The Clinical Pathology section focuses on the analysis of body fluids such as urine, cerebrospinal fluid, pleural fluid, ascitic fluid, synovial fluid and other specimens. Our team performs a wide range of tests, including urine analysis, fluid cytology and biochemical tests using automated analyzers and expertise.
Cytopathology
The Cytopathology section specializes in the examination of cells from various body fluids and tissues to diagnose diseases, including cancers and infections. Using advanced microscopic techniques, we analyze specimens such as Body fluid cytology, Tzanck smears to identify abnormal cell patterns and provide critical diagnostic insights.
