Dr. Indu B.R. has had a remarkable and fulfilling journey as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Renai Medicity, where she played a crucial role in establishing the department. In 2001, she completed her primary medical degree (MBBS) at the Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, and went on to obtain her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Trivandrum Medical College in 2006. Afterward, she worked at Lakshmi Hospital in Ernakulam. Dr. Indu is widely recognized for her exceptional professionalism, individualised care, and compassionate approach. Until 2015, she has effectively performed over 1,500 Caesarean Section Operations and more than 3,500 normal deliveries throughout her career as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Her areas of specialisation revolve around High-Risk Obstetrics and minimally invasive gynaecological surgeries. She holds lifelong memberships with the IMA, Cochin, and the Cochin Obstetric & Gynaecological Society.
