AURORA-IR
High-Energy Mid-Infrared OPA- High Energy
The AURORA-IR-HE is the high-energy variant of the mid-infrared Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA), engineered for demanding ultrafast and high-energy mid-IR experiments. It accepts pump pulse energies from 400 µJ to 2 mJ, enabling powerful mid-infrared generation with excellent stability.
The system provides broad wavelength coverage from 1350 nm to 16,000 nm when combined with the DFG (Difference Frequency Generation) extension, making it ideal for advanced spectroscopy, nonlinear optics, and strong-field physics applications.
With >6% conversion efficiency at 1550 nm, the AURORA-IR-HE delivers high output performance while maintaining stable and reliable operation. A nitrogen purge option is available to ensure long-term stability and minimize atmospheric absorption in sensitive mid-infrared experiments.
